4 days from Marrakech to Fez via sahara desert

Day 01 Marrakesh – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah-Ouarzazate – Skoura Oases – Roses Valley – Boumalene Dades .

First day of the tour will commence at 8am from Marrakesh towards the High Atlas Mountains by passing through Tizi n’Tichka path where you stop to appreciate the mountain landscapes. Passing Tizi n’ Tichka bends you will head to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco and also has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot here. You will break for lunch in Ait Ben Haddou and continue on your drive to Ouarzazate city which is nicknamed the “Hollywood of Morocco” and Morocco’s filmmaking location. There it existed the world’s largest film studio in the Atlas Studios. you will visit historical monuments of Taourirt Kasbah. After Ouarzazate you will drive and experience the charm landscapes of Kasbahs through the Berber villages of Skoura and Roses Valley renowned for rose festival that organized every year in May .night will be in Bomaln Dades the valley of birds.

Day 02: Bomaln Dades – Todgha Gorge – Tinjdad – Merzouga. Camel ride and night in a camp

Second day of tour will start from Bomaln Dades into Merzouga which has the largest and highest sand dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi. Then we will pass Tinghir and head to Gorge Todra which is the narrowest Gorge in Morocco. When we leave Todra Gorge we will pass through different Berber villages of Tinjdad , Mallab and Tourog.next stop will be in Jourf where you will see an old system of irrigation used by the ancient people in 16th centry. Thereafter continue to Erfoud the land of fossils where it existed many fossils mining. The lunsh will be in one of many restaurants on the way . you make your way to Merzouga where you will find your camels waiting for you ride them to enjoy the sunset and stay in a traditional Berber camp overnight in the middle of the sand dunes and listen to some Berber drum music under the moon and stars.

Day 03 Merzouga –Gnawa music house-Errisani-Arfoud- trecking and night in Ziz valley.

The third day will be a touring in Merzouga area starting by the Gnawa music in small village called Khamlia (a village of black people that brought from deferent African countries as slaves settled down in that area in the 50’s and 60’s ) then driving to Errisani one of the main stations of the trading caravans in the past where you will visit an old traditional market .then Arfoud the land of fossils where we will see one of the many fossils mining .(lunch will be in Arfoud or Errisani or maybe a picnic ), after Erfoud you will drive ahead Ziz valley one of the largest palmeries in north Africa there you will spend night after 1hour trekking in the valley .

Day 04 Ziz Valley-Ziz gorges-Midalt-Timhdit-Cedar Forest of Azrou -Ifran-Fez.

From Ziz Valley you start the day by stopping in the panoramic view of Ziz valley,thereafter heading to cross the high atlas mountains you will pass Ziz gorges and through the Tizi n’Talghomt pass mountain , to Midalt the capital of apples , to Timhdit the land of storks. Then you will see the Cedar forest of Azrou (which is famous for its aromatic cedar trees) stop there for a few minutes to see the Barbary macaque monkeys and take some pictures. After Azrou forest we will pass through Ifran which known as the “Moroccan Switzerland”. On arrival in Fez, our crew will lead you to your riad/hotel.
